What's good for the vine is good for the wine
Wines crafted for rich and deep fruit flavors along with distinctive oak character. Ladybugs (natural insect predators) consume crop-damaging aphids ensuring the health and vitality of our select vineyards
The ladybug is a natural predator that feeds on aphids and mites that are harmful to plants and crops. "Natural predation" is just one of our many sustainable vineyard practices that eliminates the need for synthetic pesticides.
Lodi, a Central Valley appellation, is known for its legendary "Old Vine" Zinfandels. Situated between the Sierra Foothills and the San Francisco Bay Delta, Lodi benefits from cool afternoon and evening breezes, creating ideal growing conditions for its world-renowned Zinfandel.

“A real winner, Predator’s cuvée of 17,000 cases, aged in French and American oak, is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, and certainly smells and tastes like it. Attractive aromatics of licorice, red and black fruits and spice box are all present in the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, a tasty, medium-bodied, supple-textured wine. It should drink nicely for another 2-3 years.”
