Winemakers across Napa Valley reported another stellar harvest for 2016. Bud break began early due to a warm spring, and the summer then brought moderate daytime temperatures with cool evenings. Harvest started early, in mid-August, and progressed at a steady pace. October ushered in a few rain showers that put a swift end to a successful harvest.
Food Pairing Notes
Enjoy our Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon with a butterflied leg of lamb or lamb steak with rosemary. Also delicious alongside a cheese board with Gorgonzola, aged cheddar and Gouda.
Our 2016 Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from our family’s two vineyards located in the Rutherford sub-appellation of Napa Valley. This Cabernet Sauvignon is derived from both our Abela Estate and our Franklin Estate vineyards, which are a combination of sustainable, organic.
