2013 proved to be another record harvest in Napa Valley. We enjoyed consistently superb weather, which ultimately resulted in optimal fruit ripeness. Very minimal rainfall from January through March brought an earlier than usual budbreak. April provided a few small rainstorms to quench the vines, and warm weather followed. With just one heat spike in late June and early July, the growing season provided weather for excellent flavor development in the grapes, resulting in an early and rewarding harvest.

Vineyard Notes
The fruit for our Reserve Cabernet is sourced from the Oak Knoll appellation and our two estate vineyards in the Rutherford appellation, Franklin and Abela. Perfect climatic conditions and the region’s deep, loamy, well-drained soils produce dark, intensely flavored Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Our rich soil sets the foundation for an exquisite, cellar-ready wine that will evolve in character and quality for years to come.
Food Pairing Notes
This Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful complement to a ribeye steak, a rack of lamb or a mushroom risotto.
